Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Maximilien De Robespierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peterson has chosen Remember the Name by Fort Minor as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Maximilien De Robespierre! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Thomas Peterson! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Anni Minnemäki and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peterson doesn't succeed with the takedown and De Robespierre counters with a nice double leg into side control. Peterson won't be happy with that. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Peterson sneaks back into half guard. De Robespierre wants to stand up but Peterson is controlling the position.
De Robespierre is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Peterson looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Peterson is not content to let De Robespierre control the position. Peterson actively working from the bottom here. De Robespierre seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peterson wants to get back to full guard but De Robespierre has mounted him! De Robespierre content just to control the position here. De Robespierre trying to control but he's not successful this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Peterson is in all sorts of trouble here.
De Robespierre landing strikes from the mount and Peterson is in trouble! Peterson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Peterson is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. De Robespierre pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Peterson wants to control but De Robespierre is having none of it. De Robespierre postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Peterson looks a forlorn figure.
Peterson tries to lock up and control but De Robespierre gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. De Robespierre lands a big shot there that rocks Peterson but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Peterson is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! De Robespierre with good strikes from the mount here! Peterson is still in real trouble! Can De Robespierre finish him? Peterson manages to regain half guard. Good work. Peterson tries to roll over but De Robespierre keeps him under control. Peterson works his way to full guard. Good work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. De Robespierre slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Peterson seems to have recovered his senses. Peterson has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think De Robespierre should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Peterson has tightened it up now! De Robespierre should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
