The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ledbetter throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Ledbetter throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Melendez tries to bum rush Ledbetter with a series of wild strikes but Ledbetter uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A good leg kick by Ledbetter.
Ledbetter throws a body kick that misses.
Ledbetter slips a jab and a cross from Melendez.
Melendez lands a left and a right that send Ledbetter crashing to the mat, dazed. Melendez thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Ledbetter is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Melendez misses with a double jab.
Oh Ledbetter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Melendez throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ledbetter.
A combination from Melendez does no damage.
Melendez fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Ledbetter square on the jaw! Damn, Ledbetter is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
