1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rasheed Willis! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Anthony Taglia and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Willis pushes Lesniewskii up against the cage in a clinch. Willis avoiding damage.
Willis lands a hook that snaps the head of Lesniewskii backwards. Willis turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Willis advances to mount. Willis looking to finish Lesniewskii with some ground and pound. This is bad for Lesniewskii! Willis controlling his opponent. Willis's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Willis landing strikes from the mount. Willis has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Lesniewskii is breathing heavily. Willis trying to control but Lesniewskii is having none of it. Willis is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Lesniewskii can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Willis in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Willis avoids the attempt from Lesniewskii to control. Lesniewskii seems to have got his legs back now. A nice elbow there by Willis. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lesniewskii has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Willis connects with a big shot to the side of Lesniewskii's head.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Willis is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Lesniewskii with him. Lesniewskii is trying to defend but Willis has an arm under the chin now! Lesniewskii grimaces and is forced to tap out!
