The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Kuqi does it's job there.

That was a close round but I would say that Doug DeSouza will probably get the nod.

DeSouza shoots in looking for a takedown but Kuqi manages to keep the fight standing, pushing DeSouza's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

DeSouza is working to tighten is grip on Kuqi's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Kuqi has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but DeSouza is really squeezing tight and eventually Kuqi passes out! DeSouza breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
