Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Bertha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Mueller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mueller is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: RED. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Big Bertha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Peter Mueller!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mueller shoots for a double leg takedown but Bertha sprawls well. He's pushed Mueller's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mueller closes the distance and clinches up with Bertha, looking for a takedown. Mueller pushes Bertha against the cage but Bertha circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Mueller throws a leg kick which misses Bertha's front leg but catches the back leg as Bertha tries to avoid it.
A slapping leg kick lands for Mueller.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Bertha enables Mueller to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bertha manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Mueller drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mueller jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Bertha being controlled here, momentarily.
Mueller tries to free his leg and advance position but Bertha is retaining full guard.

Mueller pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bertha is keeping the position for now.
Mueller prevents Bertha from getting back to his feet.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Peter Mueller hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Bertha chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Bertha misses with a leg kick
and Mueller counters with a good, hard body kick but Bertha shrugs it off.
Bertha thows a body shot but no joy.
Mueller looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Big Bertha has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Mueller.
Bertha throws a wild body kick that Mueller sees coming a mile off.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bertha misses with a low kick.
Mueller misses with a takedown attempt
and Bertha counters with a nice leg kick.
Mueller's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Bertha connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Mueller scrambles back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bertha feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Mueller's calf.
Mueller looks gassed!
Mueller staying out of range there.
Mueller tries for a takedown but Bertha circles away easily
and Bertha counters with a straight right hand.
Bertha tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mueller was well out of range. Poor timing from Bertha.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Mueller checks a leg kick.
Mueller fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bertha avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bertha ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mueller moves away.
Bertha scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Bertha stuffs the takedown.
Bertha shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Mueller fails with the takedown
and Bertha counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Bertha lands a big uppercut and Mueller crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Mueller looks OK. Bertha waves Mueller back to his feet!
Mueller is rocked!
It looks like Peter Mueller has been cut.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bertha is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mueller.
Mueller is still on wobbly legs! Can Bertha finish him?
Bertha throws a hook to the side of Mueller's head but Mueller sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Mueller wants to stay close but Bertha steps back to make room for something. Mueller seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Bertha and Mueller drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Big Bertha!
