Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ranger Chang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyrone Bate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Chang might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Boys. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ranger Chang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tyrone Bate!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Sano and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bate connects with a good right hand that stumbles Chang. Chang circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Bate tests Chang's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Chang ducks right into an uppercut from Bate.
Bate scores with a decent looking hook.
Bate scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Horrible takedown by Chang or perhaps it was just good defense by Bate which made him look bad.
Bate fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Bate stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Good exchange - Bate coming out on top.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chang tries for a takedown but Bate circles away easily
and Bate counters with a nice body shot.
Bate slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Chang is rocked!
Chang misses with a takedown
and Bate counters with a nice uppercut.
Oh Chang is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ranger Chang. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Chang is breathing heavily.
Bate throws an overhand right that drops Chang like a sack of potatoes! Bate dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tyrone Bate!
Tyrone Bate decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
