Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tota Liddel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Paul Sartre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddel comes to the cage accompanied by Ektomorf - Show your fist. Sartre has chosen Heartbeats as his entrance music. Jean Paul Sartre has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tota Liddel! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jean Paul Sartre! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Edson Gomes and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sartre moves in looking to clinch but Liddel pushes him off. Sartre looks to score with a jab to the body but Liddel is just out of range. Sartre misses with a low kick.
Sartre throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Liddel throws a chopping leg kick but Sartre manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Liddel checks the leg kick nicely there.

Liddel tries to work over Sartre's front leg with a kick but Sartre checks it. Liddel takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Liddel blocks a head kick by Sartre.
Sartre on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Liddel lands a jab to Sartre's midsection. Liddel lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Jean Paul Sartre has been cut. Liddel keeps the fight on the outside. Liddel scores with a jab to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sartre throws a push kick but Liddel slaps the foot to one side. Sartre moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Sartre misses with an attempted mid kick.
Liddel loads up on a big right hand but Sartre slips the punch. Sartre tries to clinch but Liddel is having none of it. Sartre takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sartre throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Liddel's head. Sartre fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Sartre lands a nice leg kick that just misses Liddel's sensitive parts. Sartre tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Liddel is able to avoid easily. Liddel misses with a body shot.
Sartre delivers a nice body kick. The fight stays on the outside here - Sartre looks like he's thinking about clinching though. This has been an exciting period of action! A head kick misses from Sartre. Liddel connects with a body shot that sends Sartre's belly button to the back. Sartre throws a head kick but Liddel moves out of range.
Liddel lands a really nice looking cross but Sartre seems unphased.
A low kick from Sartre misses and Liddel counters with a low kick, right behind Sartre 's knee. Liddel has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Sartre. Liddel swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Sartre misses with the combination.

Sartre tries to clinch but Liddel moves out of range. Liddel is looking to wear down Sartre with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Sartre uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Liddel.
Liddel will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
A jab from Liddel does it's job there. Liddel throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sartre stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Sartre blocks a head kick by Liddel.

Liddel is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Liddel takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Sartre misses with a low kick as Liddel jumps back. Liddel misses with a leg kick. Sartre is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Sartre uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Liddel.
Sartre throws a right hand that Liddel ducks under and follows up with a left that Liddel also avoids with ease. Sartre pushes Liddel away with a front kick. Liddel feints and then cracks Sartre's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sartre down. Sartre misses with a combination
and Liddel counters with a lovely shot to the body. Sartre looks gassed! Liddel throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Sartre moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Liddel lands a body shot.
Sartre wants to clinch up but Liddel keeps it at a distance. Sartre moves out of range of the body kick. Sartre drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Sartre tries a head kick but it misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Liddel misses with a wild body shot. Liddel feints and then cracks Sartre's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sartre down. Liddel takes a kick to the side of the head. Liddel scores with a head kick. Sartre tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Liddel checks a low kick from Sartre. Sartre throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Liddel scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Sartre takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
That has opened up Jean Paul Sartre's cut even more. Sartre on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Liddel throws a body punch but Sartre moves out of range. Sartre takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Liddel scoring well with a low kick there.
A chopping leg kick lands by Liddel. Sartre takes a body punch but keeps moving. That kick from Liddel tenderised Sartre's leg. Sartre is trying to keep his angry face on. Liddel scores with a nice right hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Liddel turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Sartre stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Liddel. Liddel connects with a solid leg kick. Liddel lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Sartre at a distance.
Sartre is breathing heavily. Liddel scores with a hook to the body. Sartre takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Liddel tests Sartre's chin there with a solid looking shot. Sartre stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Liddel.
That's one minute gone in the round. Liddel is looking to slow Sartre down with leg kicks. Good standup being displayed there by Liddel as he connects with a hook. Liddel scores with a nice body kick.
Jean Paul Sartre is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Liddel tests Sartre's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Jean Paul Sartre's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. A chopping leg kick lands by Liddel. Sartre on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Sartre might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Liddel has got the better of the exchanges. A shot to the liver by Liddel. Beautiful body shot. Sartre takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Liddel scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Liddel scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Liddel throws a body punch but Sartre moves out of range. Liddel fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Sartre misses with a double jab.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Tota Liddel! Tota Liddel is the new middleweight champion! After winning the bout, Tota Liddel thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
