Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Ray Philips (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Jane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Philips's entrance music is Dance Hall Days. A fine choice. Patrick Jane told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Philips misses with a series of wild punches.
Philips ducks right into an uppercut from Jane.
Jane moves away from the strike by Philips.
Jane uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Philips.
Philips throws a half hearted mid kick.
Jane with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Philips lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Philips.
Jane scores with a jab. Philips acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Jane wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Philips shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Philips on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Jane connects with an inside leg kick.

Philips loads up on a big right hand but Jane slips the punch.
Philips wants to land a leg kick but Jane is out of range.

and Jane counters with a right hand to the body.

Jane's jab looks to have found its range, popping Philips under the eye.
Philips walks into a stiff left hand from Jane.
Jane bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Philips's head backwards.
Philips swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Philips walks into a straight right hand from Jane.
Jane misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Good leg kick by Jane there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A low kick from Philips misses
letting Jane counter with a right hand.
Jane lands a right hook to the body.
Jane throws a quick inside leg kick.
Philips has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Jane.
Jane lands a jab to the head.
Philips gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Jane scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Philips chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jane can pounce on him.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Jane.
Philips takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Jane lands a really nice looking cross but Philips seems unphased.
Philips is rocked!
Jane connects with a single shot there.
Oh Philips is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Philips takes a jab right on the kisser.
Jane scores with a hook to the body. Philips takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
A shot to the liver by Jane. Beautiful body shot.
Jane throws out a head kick that Philips doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Philips crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Philips's eyes and has decided to let it go on!

Jane connects with a single shot there.
Jane cracks Philips with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
