Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nasty Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rico Maglayon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Maglayon pushes Diaz up against the cage in a clinch.

Maglayon breaks the clinch.
Maglayon scores with a head kick.

It looks like Nasty Diaz has been cut.
Diaz scores with a decent looking hook.
Diaz scores with a crisp jab that stopped Maglayon in his tracks.

Maglayon closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Maglayon lands an elbow inside that Diaz shrugs off.
Maglayon lands a right hand that snaps the head of Diaz backwards.
Maglayon's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Diaz fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Maglayon is out of range.
Diaz sizes up Maglayon with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Maglayon tries to move into range but Diaz moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

It looks like Rico Maglayon has been cut.
Maglayon closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Maglayon is rocked!
Diaz throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Maglayon is still on wobbly legs! Can Diaz finish him?
Maglayon avoids a punch combination nicely.
Maglayon seems to have recovered his senses.

Maglayon shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Maglayon is looking to pass Diaz's guard but actually Diaz recovers to full guard.
Diaz bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Maglayon's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Diaz connects with a couple of short punches.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Diaz is looking to stand up but Maglayon won't let him.

Maglayon tries to free his leg and advance position but Diaz is retaining full guard.

Maglayon must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Diaz has his foot on Maglayon's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Maglayon works his way back into a safe position though.
Maglayon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Diaz swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Diaz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Maglayon lying in Diaz's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Diaz decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Maglayon taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
