Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Ellis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ellis comes into the arena with Bloodsport blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shane Ellis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andrew Jones! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ellis circles away. Jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ellis. Ellis wants to clinch. Ellis fails in his attempt to clinch. Ellis throws the kick towards the body but Jones avoids it. Jones fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ellis, pushing him back against the cage. Ellis could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Ellis pushes off an throws an elbow but Jones leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Jones takes a knee right on the jaw!
It looks like Andrew Jones has been cut. Ellis lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Ellis creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Jones's defenses. Jones is working for takedown but Ellis is calmly controlling the position for now. Ellis throws an elbow but it misses.
Ellis misses with an elbow over the top. Jones is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Shane Ellis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Jones. Ellis gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Ellis prevents a takedown attempt there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ellis creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Jones lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ellis stops a takedown attempt from Jones.
Jones drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ellis gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Jones avoids a wild elbow strike from Ellis. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Jones as Ellis tries to tie him up. Jones takes an elbow to the temple. Ellis creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Come on Ellis - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Jones blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Ellis tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Jones looks gassed! Ellis taking a breather. Ellis comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Ellis using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ellis lands a nice elbow. Jones blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ellis throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Ellis lands a damaging elbow.
That has opened up Andrew Jones's cut even more. Ellis lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Ellis lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Jones is rocked! Jones blocks an elbow strike. Jones is still on wobbly legs! Can Ellis finish him? Ellis lands a big knee to the head and Jones goes down! Ellis pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shane Ellis! As Shane Ellis got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: I would have much enjoyed fighting you to the death... but you are not strong enough for that yet. My victory was too easy.'.
