Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Balboa has chosen Never Surrender as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Balboa shoots for a double leg takedown but Jones sprawls well. He's pushed Balboa's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Balboa closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Balboa pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Balboa fails to land the takedown. Anderson Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rocky Balboa. Balboa gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. That's one minute gone in the round. Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Balboa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Balboa looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Balboa working for a triangle but Jones defends it easily.
Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Balboa on the ground. Jones throws a big elbow that misses. Jones missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Balboa manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jones manages to get himself to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Balboa drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Balboa jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Jones wants to sweep but no luck. Jones is working an open guard so Balboa takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Balboa closes the distance and clinches. Balboa unloads a knee to the mid-section. Jones lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones stops a takedown attempt from Balboa.
Balboa will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Jones up against the cage. Balboa escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Balboa shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Balboa is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jones sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Balboa looks gassed! Jones looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Jones throws an overhand right that lands on Balboa's shoulder, as Balboa tries to avoid the shot. Balboa moves into the clinch.

Jones tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Balboa is defending well against a takedown attempt. Balboa is trying to pull guard but Jones turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Balboa is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Jones is defending well. Jones is trying to force a seperation but Balboa has the dominant position. Balboa has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jones is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Jones jumps guard but Balboa turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Jones tries to pull guard but Balboa forces him back to his feet, against the cage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jones wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Balboa looking for a takedown. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Both guys are working to get underhooks. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rocky Balboa dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Balboa gets off balance looking for a body kick and Jones counters with a left and a right that stings Balboa. Jones with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Jones throws a head kick that half lands.
Balboa shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jones sprawls well. Jones wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Balboa gets slowly back to his feet. Jones will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A thudding body kick lands there by Jones!

Balboa is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Balboa uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jones. Jones misses the shot to the body. Balboa stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Balboa wants it to stay on the feet. Balboa clinches up with Jones and pushes him back against the cage. Balboa pulls guard effortlessly. Balboa wants to sweep but no luck. Balboa controlling the position. Jones pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Balboa is keeping the position for now. Jones will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Jones wants to control from the top but Balboa keeps moving. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Balboa lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Jones!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Balboa controlling from the full mount. Balboa working away from the top, dropping strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jones tries to reverse the position but Balboa maintains control. Balboa content just to control the position here. Jones wants to control but Balboa is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Balboa controlling the position easily from mount. Balboa lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Balboa fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Balboa sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Jones is looking to improve his position but Balboa isn't that keen on the idea. Jones takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Balboa with good strikes from the mount here! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jones is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rocky Balboa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Balboa pushes Jones up against the cage in a clinch. Balboa breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Jones throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Balboa has managed to clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Jones. Balboa jumps guard and drags Jones to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Balboa is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Balboa lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Jones! Balboa with good strikes from the mount here! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Balboa controlling the position easily from mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Balboa landing punches. Balboa with shots to the head and body - Jones looks very uncomfortable down there. Balboa content just to control the position here. Rocky Balboa has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee warns Jones that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jones wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Balboa landing strikes from the mount. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Balboa cracks Jones with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rocky Balboa! Rocky Balboa spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
