Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eugen Schauman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes into the arena with disturbed - down with the sickness blaring out of the sound system. Schauman has chosen Finland's National Anthem as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Eugen Schauman! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch up but Schauman swats him away and circles back towards the center. Gracie takes a swing at Schauman's ribcage but misses. Schauman bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Gracie's head backwards. Chuck Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Schauman misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gracie.
Gracie is looking to clinch but Schauman is avoiding it.

It looks like Eugen Schauman has been cut. Gracie moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. This has been an exciting period of action! Gracie wants to clinch up but Schauman keeps it at a distance. Schauman lands with an uppercut that bounces Gracie off the cage and back into range. Gracie looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Chuck Gracie is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Gracie is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Schauman misses with a hook. Schauman moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Gracie tests Schauman's chin there with a solid looking shot. Schauman scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gracie tries to clinch up but Schauman circles away and keeps his distance. The fighters circling - Gracie throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Gracie misses with a series of wild punches.
Schauman throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Gracie lands a nice shot that snaps Schauman's head back.

Schauman moves out of range of the body kick. Gracie lands a head shot. Gracie is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. The fight stays on the outside here - Gracie looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A telegraphed right hand from Schauman misses the target.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie throws a series of punches but Schauman avoids them all with ease. Gracie misses with an uppercut. Nice uppercut lands for Gracie. That snapped Schauman's head back.
Schauman might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Schauman lands a right hook to the body.
A swing and a miss from Gracie. Schauman misses with an uppercut. Schauman rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gracie moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Gracie lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Gracie walks into a jab. Schauman closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gracie to the mat! Gracie manages to get full guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Schauman tries to free his leg and advance position but Gracie is retaining full guard. Schauman controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Schauman throws an elbow that misses. Gracie uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Schauman's guard. Nice move by Gracie!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Schauman had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Gracie defends it easily. Gracie trying to control but Schauman is working from the bottom. Gracie pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Schauman is keeping the position for now. Schauman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gracie gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Schauman is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Gracie is aware though and is defending well. Gracie trying to control but Schauman is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Chuck Gracie will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Eugen Schauman's cut. That's time! Gracie's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Schauman uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Gracie. Schauman throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gracie thows a left - swing and a miss! Gracie catches Schauman with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Gracie wants to clinch up but Schauman keeps it at a distance. Gracie misses the jab. Left hook, right uppercut from Gracie.
That has opened up Eugen Schauman's cut even more. A jab from Gracie misses. Gracie keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Schauman slips under a jab. Gracie works Schauman's body with a nice hook. Schauman shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Gracie napping and manages to drive through into side control! Schauman is trying to ground and pound but Gracie uses the momentary lack of control by Schauman to regain half guard.

Eugen Schauman has got the better of the ground game so far. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Schauman is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Gracie has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Gracie! Schauman looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gracie is one step ahead there. Gracie stands and throws Schauman's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Gracie is looking to take a break and control but Schauman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Schauman manages to work his way to half guard, despite Gracie's best efforts. Schauman slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Schauman keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully. Gracie is really struggling to control Schauman but he's trying to hold on to the position. Schauman looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Schauman takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Gracie trying to pass the guard but Schauman defending well. Gracie trying to control the pace. Gracie is keen to just control but Schauman is a slippery customer. Schauman is looking for a sweep. Gracie is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Schauman is in trouble now - Gracie has advanced to mount! Schauman is trying desperately to improve position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Schauman turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Gracie off and cradles Schauman's limp body as Gracie celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:26 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Chuck Gracie! An out of breath Chuck Gracie thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
