Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John One Bang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fernando Mota (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fernando Mota will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, John One Bang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fernando Mota! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Fedor Mirinova and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mota wants to clinch and One Bang counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Mota looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are battling for position here. Mota manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Mota looking to control.
Mota can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as One Bang controls the pace. One Bang really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. One Bang prevents Mota from getting back to his feet. One Bang stands up from Mota's guard - One Bang perhaps looking for a knockout. A combination from One Bang does no damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. One Bang shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Mota is trying to defend but One Bang finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. One Bang thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. One Bang content to control rather than advance. One Bang wants to stand but Mota has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Mota trying to control from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. One Bang with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Mota avoiding damage under a succession of punches from One Bang. One Bang performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
John One Bang has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. One Bang avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mota tries for a takedown but One Bang circles away easily and One Bang counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by One Bang. Mota looks gassed! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! One Bang is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. One Bang lands a couple of elbows. One Bang advances to half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
One Bang tries to pass to full mount but Mota defends it. One Bang not doing much here.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up because John One Bang just wasn't active enough. One Bang throws a chopping leg kick but Mota manages to avoid taking any serious damage. One Bang throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Mota shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and One Bang counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Mota's guard now. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. One Bang pushes down on Mota's leg and manages to get into half guard. One Bang decides to return to a standing position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John One Bang dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
One Bang closes the distance and clinches. Mota is looking to break free of the clinch but One Bang has double underhooks. Mota wants to break free but One Bang has control.
One Bang throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Mota is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but One Bang is defending well. Mota is looking to break free of the clinch but One Bang has double underhooks. Mota is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. One Bang keeps control of Mota as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. One Bang has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Mota regains guard immediately. Mota is breathing heavily. One Bang makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. One Bang engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. One Bang stopping the sweep attempt from Mota. One Bang pushes down on Mota's leg and manages to get into half guard. Mota is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Mota is trying to control but One Bang passes into side control!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mota being controlled for a moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mota tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. One Bang is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mota is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Mota takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
One Bang taking a breather here. John One Bang overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. One Bang creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
That's four minutes gone in the round. One Bang thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. One Bang happy to just control the position for now. Mota tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but One Bang presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! One Bang working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John One Bang dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
One Bang closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mota's guard. One Bang sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mota's guard. One Bang throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Mota has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. One Bang is working away from the top position though. Mota is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but One Bang is staying active. Mota takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. One Bang wants to pass to mount but Mota is defending the position. One Bang looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's one minute gone in the round. One Bang passes into side control, despite Mota's attempt to control the position.
One Bang has knee on belly and moves into mount. Mota sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. One Bang decides to stand up. Mota misses with a takedown and One Bang counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Mota! One Bang tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. This has been an exciting period of action! One Bang breaks from Mota's wrist control and lands an elbow. One Bang controlling his opponent. One Bang prevents Mota from getting the reversal.
That's three minutes gone in the round. One Bang in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
One Bang controlling from mount. One Bang scoring with strikes but Mota is staying in there. Mota is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
One Bang working for a guillotine from mount but Mota is in no mood to give up. One Bang knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mota on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. One Bang avoids the attempt from Mota to control. Mota bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! One Bang pulls Mota in close to prevent any damage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. One Bang throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
And that's the end of the fight! John One Bang showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for One Bang, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
