Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lee Sawaguchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Daley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daley has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lee Sawaguchi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Paul Daley! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sawaguchi connects with a high kick. Daley scores a takedown into full mount! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Sawaguchi tries to lock up and control but Daley gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Sawaguchi working to try and regain half guard.
Sawaguchi wants to hold on but Daley pushes him away. Sawaguchi really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Daley looks gassed! Daley throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Sawaguchi because Daley loaded up on that one. Sawaguchi is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sawaguchi is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Sawaguchi tries to hold on but Daley postures up. BOOM! Daley connects with a massive shot to the dome!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Sawaguchi trying to hold on to Daley's head to control him but Daley postures up.
Sawaguchi is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Daley is trying to control. Sawaguchi wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Sawaguchi wants to control but Daley is keeping busy and won't allow it. Sawaguchi actively working from the bottom here. Sawaguchi is trying to control but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sawaguchi looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sawaguchi is defending against the submission attempts here by Daley.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Daley is thwarting Sawaguchi's attempts to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sawaguchi is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Daley's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Daley's back! Daley is keeping busy.
