Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Patriko El (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Alekhine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Patriko El!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexander Alekhine!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Fedor Mirinova and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
El closes this distance looking for a takedown but Alekhine circles away.
El looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Alekhine fails with an attempt to clinch.
No joy there for Alekhine, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
El checks the leg kick nicely there.
El takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Alekhine tries a head kick but it misses.
Alexander Alekhine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Alekhine instigates a clinch.
Alekhine manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Alekhine pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces El back to the cage. Alekhine follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

El changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Alekhine tries to avoid it but El manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Alekhine to the ground. Alekhine escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Alekhine closes the distance and pushes El back into the cage.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

El darts in and clinches Alekhine up against the cage.

Alekhine manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. El manages to get himself to full guard.

Alekhine drops back looking for a leg! El is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and El manages to kick Alekhine off! Alekhine jumps back into El's guard.
El on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if El tries to get out of the position.

El knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Alekhine on the ground.

Alekhine postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Alekhine tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but El paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Alekhine looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
El leaves Alekhine with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Alekhine fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but El avoids it really well and circles away.
Patriko El has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Alekhine.
