Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Keni Susi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Malvin Maldi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Susi comes to the cage accompanied by Metallica - Hero of the Day. Maldi is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Loituma TECHNO!. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maldi lands a leg kick that knocks Susi off balance momentarily.

Susi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Maldi sprawls well. Maldi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Susi gets slowly back to his feet.

We're going to have a standup here because Keni Susi wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Maldi drops back looking for a leg! Susi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Susi manages to kick Maldi off! Maldi jumps back into Susi's guard.
Susi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Maldi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Maldi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
