Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Owen William (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Fay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Owen William could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Dean Fay's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Owen William! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dean Fay! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! William tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fay paws at him with a jab and circles away. William misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Fay counters with a left hand that sends William to the canvas!
William is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fay passes easily into side control. Nice work. William avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Fay. Fay goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, William has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Fay but great work by William. William wants to stand but Fay has his arm trapped. Fay wants to control but William postures up. William tries to stand but Fay is controlling his head. You can see the frustration on Fay's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Fay is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fay struggling a bit here. Fay throws William to one side and escapes! Fay gets a takedown into half guard. Fay misses with a head shot. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Fay kicks William off and gets to his feet. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! William is looking to clinch. William looks to land a combination but Fay avoids it well. Fay drives through with a takedown into guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fay looking to sit in guard and control but William gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

William looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. William being controlled here, momentarily. Let's hope that Fay has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Fay passes William's right leg, so he's now in half guard. William is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. William is trying to stand up here but Fay is controlling him well. Fay is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and William defends it well. Fay is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
