The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sabre is defended easily by Duck Dong.
Duck Dong slaps away a takedown attempt from Sabre, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Duck Dong lands a big head kick that sends Sabre tumbling to the mat! Duck Dong takes a step backwards and waves Sabre back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Feodore Sabre has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sabre throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Duck Dong's waist but Duck Dong gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sabre off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Feodore Sabre. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sabre looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Sabre throws a hook to the side of Duck Dong's head but Duck Dong sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Sabre shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Duck Dong but Duck Dong pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Sabre has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Duck Dong.
Sabre is breathing heavily.

Sabre closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sabre lands in his opponent's guard.

We're going to have a standup here because Feodore Sabre wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Duck Dong avoids the head kick by Sabre.

Sabre checks a leg kick nicely.
Sabre looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Duck Dong is fending him off so far but Sabre persists. Nope, Duck Dong circles away and we're back to standing.
Sabre drives through with a takedown into Duck Dong's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Sabre seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Duck Dong is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
