Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Sierra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Wiggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adam Wiggins is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alex Sierra! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Adam Wiggins! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sierra misses with a takedown attempt and Wiggins counters with a nice body kick. Sierra with a poor takedown and Wiggins counters with a flying knee. Nice. Sierra shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Wiggins counters with a nice body kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alex Sierra. That's going to take a lot out of him. A head kick misses from Wiggins. Sierra could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Sierra swats away the attempt to clinch by Wiggins. Sierra scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Sierra throwing shots but Wiggins is blocking nicely. Sierra is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Sierra is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sierra seems to be working for a kimura but Wiggins defends the submission attempt. Wiggins makes his way to full guard, as Sierra worked for a kimura.
Sierra drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Wiggins manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Sierra has Wiggins in his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wiggins wants to stand and escape but instead Sierra has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Sierra stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wiggins swivels though and keeps the full guard. Sierra trying to control the position from guard on top but Wiggins is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wiggins is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Sierra wants to pass the guard but Wiggins is keeping the position. Sierra might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Alex Sierra wasn't doing enough on the ground. Wiggins scores with a spinning back kick! Sierra shoots in and drives through. Wiggins sprawls well. Sierra is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sierra on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Wiggins. Wiggins obviously looking to wear him down.
Sierra ducks right into an uppercut from Wiggins. Wiggins scores with a leg kick.
Wiggins will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Sierra with a poor takedown and Wiggins counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Wiggins. Sierra tightens his grip and picks Wiggins up, before dumping him to the ground. Wiggins manages to land in guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wiggins is trying to control the position but Sierra postures up. Wiggins is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Wiggins wants to break the clinch but can't.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wiggins is trying to break free. Sierra keeps control of Wiggins as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Wiggins tries to circle away but Sierra has him pinned against the cage. Wiggins pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Adam Wiggins will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Sierra drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Wiggins is looking to stand up but Sierra isn't so interested in that idea. Sierra postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Wiggins is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Sierra, into his guard. Wiggins throws a big right hand that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wiggins wants to pass the guard but Sierra is keeping the position. Wiggins throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sierra works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wiggins postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Sierra is trying to hold Wiggins in close to prevent damage but Wiggins has managed to pass into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Sierra actively working from the bottom here. Sierra lands a couple of sideways elbows. Wiggins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sierra. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sierra looking for submissions off his back. Wiggins not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Wiggins wants to get back to his feet.
Sierra gets full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sierra working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Wiggins has passed into half guard!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Adam Wiggins will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Sierra closes the distance and pushes Wiggins back into the cage. Sierra tries for a takedown but Wiggins manages to get underhooks.
Wiggins breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Sierra lands with a left to the head. Sierra has clasped his hands together around Wiggins's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Sierra goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Wiggins has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Sierra but great work by Wiggins. Wiggins lands some shots froms side control. A control attempt from Sierra but he's now mounted! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sierra is looking to improve his position but Wiggins isn't that keen on the idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sierra tries to lock up and control but Wiggins gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Wiggins landing punches. Wiggins working Sierra over with strikes here. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Wiggins throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wiggins with a couple of short strikes. Wiggins looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Sierra covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Adam Wiggins!
