Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Masato Kunaida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Langham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Masato Kunaida has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Masato Kunaida! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chris Langham! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Langham has his takedown stuffed and Kunaida cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Langham shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Langham throws a right hand that Kunaida ducks under and follows up with a left that Kunaida also avoids with ease. Langham moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Kunaida ducks under a wild hook from Langham. Nice uppercut there from Kunaida. Kunaida connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Kunaida lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Kunaida fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Langham looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
That's one minute gone in the round. Langham closes the distance and clinches up with Kunaida, looking for a takedown. Langham pushes Kunaida against the cage but Kunaida circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Masato Kunaida has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Langham. Langham fails with a takedown attempt. Langham fails to land the takedown. Langham takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Kunaida keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kunaida fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kunaida lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Kunaida lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kunaida connects with a crisp jab. Langham shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Kunaida counters with a thumping low kick. Langham tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Langham shoots in for a double leg but Kunaida sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Langham looks gassed! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Langham takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Langham closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kunaida circles away. Kunaida is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Langham misses with a hook
and Kunaida counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Kunaida moves into range and connects with a jab. Langham seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Kunaida shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Langham is backing up but Kunaida catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Langham covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Kunaida Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Masato Kunaida! Post fight, Masato Kunaida stared into the camera and said 'I'm always looking for the knockout, because I can't be cool about the fight if my opponent is still moving!!!'.
