Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gee Damn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Douglas Quaid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Quaid's choice of entrance music: Metallica - For Whom the Bell Tolls. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
21 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gee Damn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Douglas Quaid!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quaid checks the leg kick nicely there.
Damn throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Quaid tries for a takedown but Damn sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Damn is looking to clinch.
Quaid has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Damn.
No joy there for Quaid, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Quaid shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Damn but Damn pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Damn tries to clinch there but Quaid circles away.
Quaid with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Damn fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Quaid manages to avoid it.
Damn is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Quaid.
Quaid misses with a straight left.

Quaid avoids a kick to the body.
Quaid shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Damn pinned against the cage. Damn gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Gee Damn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Douglas Quaid.

Damn uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Quaid.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Quaid blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Quaid pushes Damn back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Damn lands an uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gee Damn dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Damn does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Damn missing with a left hand there. Quaid was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Damn finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Damn throws a lazy right hand but Quaid sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Damn tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Damn throws a quick inside leg kick.
Damn throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Damn moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Damn wants to land a leg kick but Quaid is out of range.

Quaid misses with a takedown attempt - Damn sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Damn connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Damn tries to clinch but Quaid is having none of it.
Quaid changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Damn looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Quaid is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Damn's shoulder. That is not cool.
Quaid trying to control the position but Damn is working away.

Damn wants to control but Quaid postures up.
Quaid is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Damn has escaped the position, nice work there.
A lull in the action here as Quaid stalls from top position.
Damn takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Quaid tries to score with some ground and pound. Damn controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Damn is letting Quaid control him for a moment.
Quaid is looking to take a break and control but Damn is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Damn is trying to control Quaid's posture but Quaid avoids it.
Damn manages to work his way to half guard, despite Quaid's best efforts.

Quaid thows a huge punch but Damn dodges it nicely.

Quaid wants to lay and pray for a moment but Damn keeps working.

Quaid shoots in looking for a takedown. Damn tries to sprawl out of it but Quaid keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Damn manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Damn counters with a nice low kick that buckles Quaid's knee momentarily.

enabling Damn to counter with a crisp jab.
Gee Damn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Damn misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Damn throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Quaid tries to bum rush Damn with a series of wild strikes but Damn uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Quaid lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Quaid.

Quaid shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Damn as he avoids it easily.

and Quaid decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Damn's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

I would just about give that final round to Douglas Quaid.
