The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayes scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Hayes throws a wild body kick that Ganso sees coming a mile off.
Hayes throws out a leg kick but Ganso moves out of range and Hayes only half commits.
Hayes defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ganso.
Ganso shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Hayes counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ganso thinking.
Ganso shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Khalid Hayes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paulo Ganso.
Hayes throws a body punch but Ganso moves out of range.
Khalid Hayes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hayes sends Ganso crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Hayes is motioning to the referee to let Ganso up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Ganso is rocked!
Ganso is trying desperately to land a takedown but Hayes is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Ganso.

Hayes lands a brutal uppercut that launches Ganso off his feet! Ganso tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
