Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Sweeney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taylor comes to the cage accompanied by 'The Ripper' by Chinchilla. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Ben Sweeney!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sweeney looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Taylor fails to land with a series of punches.

Sweeney takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Sweeney is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Taylor doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sweeney.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Taylor shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Sweeney is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Sweeney tries to lock up and control but Taylor gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Sweeney regains half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Taylor stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Taylor wants it to stay on the feet.
Sweeney will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Sweeney shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Taylor but Taylor pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Sweeney has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Taylor is working away from the top position though.

Sweeney shoots in for a takedown but Taylor shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Taylor looks to land a combination but Sweeney avoids it well.
Sweeney misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Taylor throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sweeney tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Taylor is in Sweeney's guard.

Sweeney pushes a forearm under Taylor's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Taylor is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
