Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Carroll is looking to land body kicks.
O Carroll rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Grand moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
O Carroll misses with a two punch combination.
Grand throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
O Carroll really is a fat lump.
O Carroll swinging wildly here.
Grand shoots and misses
and O Carroll counters with a three punch combo that has Grand backing up. Grand nods at O Carroll to acknowledge the strikes.
Grand shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says O Carroll as he avoids it easily.
O Carroll finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
O Carroll looks to land a combination but Grand avoids it well.
Grand misses with a few strikes there.
O Carroll misses with an uppercut.
Grand is looking to clinch but O Carroll is avoiding it.
O Carroll misses with a straight right.
O Carroll misses with a jab, cross combination.
Grand fails with an attempt to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
O Carroll will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Grand closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into O Carroll's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Grand stands and throws O Carroll's legs to the side, diving into side control.
O Carroll is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Grand decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Grand misses with a takedown
enabling O Carroll to counter with a crisp jab.
John O Carroll has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Grand.

O Carroll clobbers Grand with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like James Grand has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Grand closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
O Carroll lands a body shot in the clinch.
Grand looks gassed!
O Carroll pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Some wild striking there from O Carroll.
Grand takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
O Carroll stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and O Carroll wants it to stay on the feet.
No joy there for O Carroll, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
O Carroll fails to land with a series of punches.
Grand throws a combination that misses
and O Carroll counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops Grand! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by O Carroll!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John O Carroll!
