Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hector Mcofee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Cage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcofee comes to the ring accompanied by NJJD. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Johnny Cage! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.

Mcofee feints and as Cage raises his hands in defense, Mcofee changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Cage trying to control the position.
Mcofee trying to control the position from guard on top but Cage is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mcofee is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Mcofee could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Mcofee throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Cage wants to sweep but no luck. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Mcofee pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Cage is keeping the position for now. Mcofee throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cage can do anything to dispel that myth.

Mcofee looks for a takedown but Cage sprawls well. Mcofee tries for a takedown but Cage sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hector Mcofee. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice takedown defense from Cage. No joy for Mcofee on that attempt. Mcofee is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cage sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Mcofee is breathing heavily. Mcofee shoots in looking for a takedown but Cage manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mcofee's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Cage delivers a nice body kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cage throws a head kick that Mcofee semi-blocks.
Cage throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Mcofee is rocked! Johnny Cage is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Cage throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Oh Mcofee is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Cage throws a shot to the body.
Mcofee takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Mcofee seems to have got his legs back now. Cage connects with an inside leg kick. Cage lands with a good body shot. Hector Mcofee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice body kick from Cage.

Cage lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Cage connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Cage connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Cage displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Cage connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Cage works Mcofee's body with a nice hook. Mcofee walks forward, straight into a front kick from Cage.
Cage lands a left and a right that send Mcofee crashing to the mat, dazed. Cage thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Cage scores with a jab to the body. Nice body kick there by Cage. Mcofee gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Mcofee tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Cage is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Mcofee buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Mcofee!! Mcofee is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Cage throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johnny Cage! Johnny Cage tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
