These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Damian Danzig!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marcus Herado!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herado swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Danzig throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Danzig tries to work over Herado's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Herado misses with an elbow over the top.
With the fighters up against the ropes, Herado throws an elbow but misses.
Knees in the clinch landing for Danzig.
Herado looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Danzig is pushing Herado up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Danzig connects with a nasty looking knee right to Herado's face.
Danzig really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Herado tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Danzig avoids it.

Danzig has his opponent in a tight Thai clinch and unloads with a massive knee that drops Herado to the canvas! Can Herado beat the count? 3,4,5,6 and he's up... is he? Yes, he's up! The referee is taking a long look at him and he's going to allow it to continue!
Danzig steps in and throws a big head kick that drops Herado to the mat! Herado looks in trouble, can he beat the count? Danzig is bouncing in a neutral corner joining in with the referee '4,5,6' they both chant. 7,8,9... he's not going to make it! 10! He's out! Danzig jumps onto the ropes and takes in the acclaim from the crowd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Damian Danzig!
A very excited looking Damian Danzig rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
