Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Itagaki Manabu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, David Schapiro and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manabu misses with a two punch combination.
Silva has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Silva fails with an attempt to clinch.
Manabu misses with a combination
and Silva counters with a left and a right that stings Manabu.
Manabu throws a right and a left that Silva avoids nicely.
Manabu closes the distance and clinches.
Manabu tries to circle away but Silva has him pinned against the cage.
Manabu has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Silva has had enough of the clinch but Manabu keeps him there for the moment.
Manabu working hard to break the clinch.
Manabu is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Silva wants to take the fight to the mat but Manabu manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Silva stalling in the clinch but Manabu improves position.
Silva wants to get back to striking at distance but Manabu won't allow it.
Silva is fighting off a takedown attempt but Manabu is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Silva to the mat. Silva regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Silva controls Manabu momentarily but Manabu frees himself.
Silva had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Manabu defends it easily.
Manabu has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva is trying to control the position but Manabu postures up.
Silva is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Silva trying to keep a closed guard but Manabu is proving a slippery customer.
Manabu would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Manabu knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground.

Silva is looking for a triangle but Manabu pushes his legs off easily.

Silva escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Manabu gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Silva has his foot on Manabu's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Manabu works his way back into a safe position though.
Manabu avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Manabu wants to get up but he can't break Silva's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Manabu is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Manabu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silva swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Silva has his foot on Manabu's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Manabu works his way back into a safe position though.
Silva has his feet on Manabu's thighs here. He's pushed Manabu off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Manabu screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
