Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Manu Del Rey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Beauvais (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Del Rey comes to the cage accompanied by Mobb deep - Shook ones. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Manu Del Rey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Scott Beauvais! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beauvais lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Manu Del Rey has been cut. Beauvais tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Del Rey manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Beauvais lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Del Rey takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Manu Del Rey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Del Rey checks a leg kick nicely. Beauvais fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Del Rey avoids it really well and circles away. Beauvais shoots in but no luck this time. Beauvais gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Del Rey counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Manu Del Rey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Scott Beauvais. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Del Rey shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Del Rey was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Beauvais wants to control but Del Rey is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Del Rey controlling from the full mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Beauvais really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Beauvais tries to lock up and control but Del Rey gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Del Rey controlling from the full mount.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Del Rey blocks the body kick.
Horrible takedown by Del Rey or perhaps it was just good defense by Beauvais which made him look bad. Del Rey stuffs the takedown. Beauvais tries to clinch up but Del Rey circles away and keeps his distance. Del Rey closes the distance and clinches. Beauvais is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Del Rey to keep the fight standing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beauvais wants to take the fight to the mat but Del Rey manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Del Rey's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Del Rey misses with a two punch combination.

Beauvais dives in and grabs Del Rey's left leg, looking for a takedown. Del Rey pushes down on Beauvais's head and hops out. Beauvais looks to land a combination but Del Rey avoids it well. Beauvais looks to throw the jab but Del Rey is out of range. Beauvais checks a leg kick nicely. Beauvais slips a jab and a cross from Del Rey.
Del Rey shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Beauvais is trying to defend but Del Rey finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Beauvais looks gassed! Del Rey decides to stand and escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A punch combination from Del Rey misses. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Del Rey avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Del Rey drives through with a takedown into Beauvais's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Beauvais wants to stand up but Del Rey is controlling him. Beauvais looking to control.

Beauvais goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Del Rey lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Beauvais gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Del Rey to score an easy takedown into full guard. Beauvais working for a triangle but Del Rey defends it easily.
Del Rey stands and steps away. Beauvais gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Del Rey looks to land a body kick but Beauvais moved away. Beauvais tries to clinch there but Del Rey circles away.
Scott Beauvais seems to be getting the better of the standup. Beauvais tries to clinch up and Del Rey counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Beauvais closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Del Rey's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beauvais with a flurry of punches that miss. Beauvais wants to control from the top but Del Rey keeps moving. Beauvais pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Del Rey is keeping the position for now. Beauvais sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Del Rey's guard. Beauvais is working for a kimura but Del Rey is defending it quite comfortably.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beauvais seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Del Rey does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Beauvais tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Del Rey. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Del Rey is not content to let Beauvais control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Del Rey wants to get back to his feet.
Beauvais wants to free his trapped foot but Del Rey is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Scott Beauvais has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Beauvais is trying hard to land a takedown here. Del Rey sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Beauvais throws a push kick but Del Rey slaps the foot to one side. Del Rey fails miserably with a takedown attempt. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Beauvais tries for a takedown but Del Rey sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Scott Beauvais will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Manu Del Rey's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Del Rey lands with a right hand. Beauvais gets caught napping as Del Rey dives in and scores a takedown. Beauvais manages to retain guard. Beauvais pulls Del Rey in close to prevent any damage. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Del Rey wants to land a leg kick but Beauvais is out of range. Beauvais stuffs the takedown. Del Rey avoids the head kick by Beauvais.
Beauvais closes the distance but Del Rey moves to the side enabling Del Rey to counter with a crisp jab. Del Rey bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Beauvais's head backwards. Beauvais shoots in and drives through. Del Rey sprawls well. Beauvais takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beauvais throws a low kick but it's checked well by Del Rey. Del Rey misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Del Rey looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Manu Del Rey. That's going to take a lot out of him. Del Rey shoots in for a double leg but Beauvais sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Beauvais will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Beauvais fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Del Rey fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Beauvais sprawls well initially but Del Rey persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Del Rey decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Del Rey throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Beauvais counters with a series of strikes. Del Rey will be more careful next time no doubt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Del Rey shoots in and drives through. Beauvais sprawls well. Del Rey misses with a takedown attempt - Beauvais sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Beauvais is looking to take this fight into the clinch. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Del Rey will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Beauvais fails in his attempt to clinch. Beauvais tries to close the distance and clinch up but Del Rey swats him away and circles back towards the center. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Beauvais is defended easily by Del Rey. Beauvais closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Del Rey shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Beauvais napping and manages to drive through into side control! Beauvais tries to control but Del Rey manages to take his back. Beauvais trying to control the hands but Del Rey breaks the grip. Beauvais is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Del Rey is staying active. Del Rey stands up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Del Rey checks the leg kick nicely there.
Beauvais tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Del Rey swinging wildly here.
Del Rey throws a push kick but Beauvais slaps the foot to one side. No joy there for Del Rey, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Del Rey misses with an uppercut
and Beauvais counters with a right hand to the body. Beauvais swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Del Rey looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Del Rey dives in and grabs Beauvais's left leg, looking for a takedown. Beauvais pushes down on Del Rey's head and hops out. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Beauvais fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Del Rey.
And that's the end of the fight! Manu Del Rey showed his dominance in that final round. Well Del Rey has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
