Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sevak Magakian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Magakian is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Sevak Magakian Highlights. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marcus Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sevak Magakian!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Magakian shoots in for a takedown but Silva shows good takedown defense.
Silva shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Magakian eats them both and turns towards Silva to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Magakian fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Silva, pushing him back against the cage.
Magakian is trying to drag Silva to the mat but Silva just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Magakian is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Marcus Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sevak Magakian.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Silva creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Silva is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Magakian like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Magakian from another fist facial!

A determined Marcus Silva didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
