Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shom Harnick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amir Dunham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dunham is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Omar Khairat - Alexandria . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dunham looks for a takedown but Harnick sprawls well.

Dunham gets a takedown into half guard.
Harnick pushes Dunham off looking to stand but Dunham dives back in and keeps control.

Dunham wants to work for an arm triangle but Harnick is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Dunham is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Dunham is working for a kimura but Harnick is defending it quite comfortably.
Harnick looks like he's trying to stand up.

Dunham is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Harnick doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Dunham.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Harnick's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Dunham is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Harnick to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Harnick shrugs it off.

Dunham has hold of Harnick's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Harnick manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Dunham goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Harnick is on top in guard.
Harnick is looking to stand up but Dunham won't let him.
Dunham is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Dunham is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Harnick is just riding it out for now. Dunham eventually gives up the hold.

Harnick trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Dunham seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Harnick has recovered full guard.

Dunham drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Harnick manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dunham has Harnick in his guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dunham is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Harnick wants to get up but he can't break Dunham's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Dunham is looking for a triangle but Harnick pushes his legs off easily.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Harnick tries to close the distance and clinch but Dunham swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Dunham has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Harnick is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Harnick's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Harnick - that will leave a mark!
Dunham looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Harnick is fending him off so far but Dunham persists. Nope, Harnick circles away and we're back to standing.

Dunham postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Harnick is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dunham, into his guard.

Harnick wants to stand but Dunham has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Dunham is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Harnick is aware though and is defending well.

Shom Harnick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Amir Dunham.

Dunham feints and as Harnick raises his hands in defense, Dunham changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Harnick wants to stand up but Dunham is controlling him.

Dunham slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Amir Dunham hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Harnick bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Harnick moves to clinch but Dunham breaks away

and Dunham counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Amir Dunham.
I've got Dunham winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
