Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between adri yeo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Al Around (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Around avoids the body shot from yeo.
yeo tries to clinch up.
yeo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Around tries to avoid it but yeo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Around to the ground. Around escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Around keeps the fight on the outside.
Around stuffs the takedown.
Around should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
yeo doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

and yeo counters with a shoot takedown. Around fights it but they end up in guard.
Around is trying to keep yeo in close.
yeo stands and throws Around's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Around wants to control but yeo postures up.
yeo tries to score with some ground and pound. Around controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Around feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close round but I would say that adri yeo will probably get the nod.

yeo had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Around is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. yeo Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Around's back instead.

Al Around showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well Around has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
