The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kon closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kon seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Santos tries for a takedown but Kon sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Kon drives through and clinches with Santos against the cage.

Kon is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Santos can't fight it off and eventually Kon manages to take the fight to the floor. Santos looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Ati Kon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Kon passes Santos's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Kon is looking to take a break and control but Santos is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Kon lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Kon looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Kon thows a huge punch but Santos dodges it nicely.

Kon looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Santos is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kon pulls his head out easily.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Santos tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kon swivels and escapes.
Kon cracks the inside of Santos's front leg.
Kon misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Santos dives in and scores a takedown into Kon's guard.

Santos got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kon has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Santos has managed to get both his arms back between Kon's legs - danger averted.
Kon is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Santos working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Santos passes Kon's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Kon wants to stand back up but Santos manages to pass into side control.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Kon is looking to reverse the position.
Santos working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Kon tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Santos paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Kon closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kon lands in his opponent's guard.

Kon is posturing up here but Santos has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Kon tries to roll out but it's too tight and Kon has to tap! Slick submission there by Santos!
