The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ookami clinches with his opponent.
Hart can't break the clinch.

Ookami gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Ookami passes Hart's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Ookami is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Hart really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ookami. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ookami is trying to control. Hart wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Ookami throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Ookami performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

Tenshin Ookami has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Hart gets tackled into the cage by Ookami. Ookami maintains the clinch.
Ookami stalls.

Ookami has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Hart regains guard immediately.
Ookami controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Tenshin Ookami.
Hart stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hart wants it to stay on the feet.
Horrible takedown by Ookami or perhaps it was just good defense by Hart which made him look bad.

Ookami throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hart tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ookami is in Hart's guard.
Hart is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Ookami dives into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ookami is trying to get an arm triangle but Hart is defending well.

Ookami wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hart keeps working.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ookami advances nicely into full mount.
Ookami is landing with some decent strikes but Hart is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Ookami trying to control but Hart is having none of it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Hart stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hart wants it to stay on the feet.

Ookami feints and as Hart raises his hands in defense, Ookami changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ookami wants to control from the top but Hart keeps moving.

Ookami decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Ookami cracks Hart with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Oooooh!!! Hart has knocked Ookami down with a huge combo! Hart steps away and waves a wobbly Ookami back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Tenshin Ookami has been cut.

Ookami shoots in for a takedown but Hart shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hart lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ookami circles away quickly and effectively.
Hart misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Ookami closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ookami lands in his opponent's guard.
Ookami wants to control from the top but Hart keeps moving.
Ookami might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Ookami postures up in Hart's guard and throws a big left but Hart blocks it.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Tenshin Ookami wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Hart keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tenshin Ookami. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ookami tries to clinch there but Hart circles away.
Hart pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Ookami back to the cage. Hart follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Hart avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Ookami fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ookami throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hart.
Ookami seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Hart shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Ookami is backing up but Hart catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Ookami covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Hart Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
