Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ilja Vasuta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronimar Carvalho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vasuta comes to the cage accompanied by E.S. Posthumus Unstoppable . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ilja Vasuta! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ronimar Carvalho! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Seu Braga and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carvalho doesn't manage to clinch there - Vasuta circles away.
Carvalho takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Vasuta lands with a hook. Carvalho tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Carvalho throws a sloppy head kick and Vasuta moves out of range easily. Crunch! Vasuta slams his shin into Carvalho's torso. Vasuta gets in close and instigates a clinch. Carvalho is looking for a takedown. Carvalho tries to pull guard but Vasuta won't allow it.
Vasuta is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Carvalho can't fight it off and eventually Vasuta manages to take the fight to the floor. Carvalho looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. This has been an exciting period of action! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Vasuta accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Vasuta is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Vasuta trying to control the position from guard on top but Carvalho is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Carvalho really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vasuta. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Vasuta drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Vasuta jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vasuta content to stall in guard here. Carvalho working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Vasuta. Vasuta drops back looking for a leg! Carvalho is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Carvalho manages to kick Vasuta off! Vasuta jumps back into Carvalho's guard. Vasuta forces his way into half guard. Vasuta is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Carvalho is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Ilja Vasuta! In his post fight interview, Ilja Vasuta gave a big smile as he said 'Ronimar is a good fighter. He has strong boxing base. But I was accurate. I trained hard in BJJ gym. I want to thank my coaches : Jeffry Flores and Jerome Arnold. Thanks for support. In this fight, I fought with knee injury, which I recieved in my first fight. In next fight I try to show the show.'.
