Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Diego Polalumo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Flavio Shunsal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Polalumo comes to the cage accompanied by Dirty house. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shunsal forces Polalumo back against the cage and clinches.

Shunsal has picked Polalumo up - he's going for a ride! Shunsal dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Polalumo is trying to maintain the position but Shunsal is very close to passing his half guard.
Polalumo pushes Shunsal off looking to stand but Shunsal dives back in and keeps control.
Shunsal seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Polalumo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Shunsal is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Polalumo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Polalumo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Shunsal counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Shunsal drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Polalumo manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Shunsal has Polalumo in his guard.

Shunsal is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Polalumo rolls with it to try and escape but Shunsal cranks on the arm and Polalumo is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
