Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tengo Ray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dutch Delight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ray comes to the cage accompanied by Precious Memories. Delight is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bad Reputation . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dutch Delight!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Hirohito Nitta and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Delight.
Delight slaps away a takedown attempt from Ray, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A solid leg kick lands there for Delight.
Delight throws a low kick but it's checked well by Ray.
Delight defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ray.

Delight scores with a one two! Ray had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Ray shoots in looking for a takedown. Delight tries to sprawl out of it but Ray keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Delight manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tengo Ray. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fight stays on the outside here - Delight looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Delight feints a jab promting Ray to slip. Delight then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Ray slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Delight fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ray looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Delight changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Delight throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ray stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Delight works Ray's body with a nice hook.
Ray circles away from the clinch attempt.
Delight scores with a jab to the body.
Delight lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Ray shoots in looking for a takedown but Delight manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ray's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Delight connects with a leg kick. Ray looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Dutch Delight seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Delight breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ray tries to move into range but Delight moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dutch Delight is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Delight will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Delight lands with an uppercut that bounces Ray off the cage and back into range.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Delight ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Delight has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Ray takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Delight throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Delight wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Delight connects with a high kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Delight scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ray doesn't seem bothered though.
Delight goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Delight lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Ray. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Ray on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Ray takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Delight paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Delight tries to close the distance and clinch but Ray swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Delight throws a nice outside leg kick.
Delight connects with a looping right hand.
Delight with a nice cross.
Delight with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Delight scores with a crisp jab that stopped Ray in his tracks.
Left hook, right uppercut from Delight.
Ray steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Delight. That one must have hurt.

Ray swats away the attempt to clinch by Delight.
Delight dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ray. That did some damage!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Delight throws out a powerful jab.
Delight cracks Ray with a right hand to the side of the head.
Delight uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Ray looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Dutch Delight showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Ray gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Ray is rocked!
Ray is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Ray looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Delight is fending him off so far but Ray persists. Nope, Delight circles away and we're back to standing.

Oh Ray is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Delight lands a nice looking body shot.
Dutch Delight seems to be getting the better of the standup.

During a confident post fight interview, Dutch Delight thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
