Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Polk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Braylon Beswicke!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Franklyn Lucas and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beswicke throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
James Polk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Beswicke lands a nice looking kick to the body. Polk takes a step back to recover.
A thudding body kick lands there by Beswicke!
Polk shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Beswicke counters with a head kick that wobbles Polk - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Beswicke sends him down. This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Braylon Beswicke!
