The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salek tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Salek looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Barrowman has managed to clinch.
Barrowman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Salek tries to clinch up.

Rob Salek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barrowman scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Barrowman lands with a nice combination. Salek backs away looking to recover.
Salek wants to land a leg kick but Barrowman is out of range.
Salek swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Barrowman plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Barrowman darts in and clinches Salek up against the cage.

Barrowman escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Barrowman pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Wallace Barrowman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Salek takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Salek takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Barrowman moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Barrowman plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Barrowman bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Barrowman has closed the distance and engaged Salek in a clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Barrowman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Salek stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Barrowman.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Barrowman throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Left hook, right uppercut from Barrowman.
Barrowman throws a right and a left that Salek avoids nicely.
A shot to the liver by Barrowman. Beautiful body shot.
Salek takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Barrowman closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Barrowman breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Barrowman lands with a kick to the ribs.
Barrowman lands with a kick to the temple. Salek shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Salek is rocked!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Barrowman has cracked Salek with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Barrowman lands another huge swinging hook and Salek tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Salek, before Barrowman can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Wallace Barrowman!
