Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Atwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zew Whoosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Atwood might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kanye West-Gold Digger. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whoosh tries to close the distance and clinch up but Atwood swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Atwood shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Whoosh as he jumps to the side.
Whoosh lands a nice looking body shot.
Atwood shoots in looking for a takedown. Whoosh tries to sprawl out of it but Atwood keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Whoosh manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A right-left combo lands from Whoosh.
Atwood shoots for a double leg takedown but Whoosh sprawls well. He's pushed Atwood's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Atwood. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Whoosh fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Atwood to the ground. Whoosh is now in Atwood's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Atwood has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Whoosh can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Whoosh is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Atwood is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Whoosh defends well.
Whoosh drops back, looking for a kneebar! Atwood looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Atwood looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Atwood!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Atwood working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Whoosh is trying to get back to half guard.
Atwood thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Whoosh tries to buck Atwood off but Atwood is having none of it.
Atwood is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Whoosh has escaped the position, nice work there.
Atwood tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Atwood is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Whoosh tries to improve position but can't.
Whoosh really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Atwood. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Whoosh is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Whoosh throws Atwood to one side and escapes!
Whoosh throws a sloppy head kick and Atwood moves out of range easily.
Atwood gets caught napping as Whoosh dives in and scores a takedown. Atwood manages to retain guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Atwood has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Whoosh doesn't defend quickly enough and Atwood has managed to lock this one up! Can Whoosh escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Atwood on a fantastic submission victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Ryan Atwood!
A relieved looking Ryan Atwood thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
