Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eric Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bart Olome (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice combination there by Silva.
Silva tries to clinch but Olome moves out of range.
Olome feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Silvas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

It looks like Eric Silva has been cut.

Olome darts in and clinches Silva up against the cage.

Olome is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Silva can't fight it off and eventually Olome manages to take the fight to the floor. Silva looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Silva manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Olome manages to get himself to full guard.

Olome has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Silva off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Olome turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Olome manages to end up in side control.

Well Olome has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
