Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derick Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith has chosen I am The Law as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Derick Smith has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Michael Tyson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Derick Smith!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Steve Montenegro and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tyson tries to avoid it but Smith manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tyson to the ground. Tyson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Smith tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tyson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Smith somewhat.
Tyson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Smith's half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Smith is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Smith is not content to let Tyson control the position.
Smith wants to control but Tyson is keeping busy.
That's one minute gone in the round.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Derick Smith hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Smith shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Michael Tyson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Derick Smith.
Smith tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tyson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Smith somewhat.
Tyson has closed the distance and engaged Smith in a clinch.
Tyson prevents a takedown attempt there.
Tyson lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Smith or not.

Smith thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Smith thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tyson's head.
Tyson wants to control but Smith is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Tyson misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Tyson wants to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Smith is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Smith is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Tyson wants to control but Smith is keeping busy.
Smith is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Tyson is staying active underneath Smith, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Smith has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Smith maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Tyson could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Smith has cracked it and Tyson is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Smith!
