The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nash will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Halloway closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Halloway seems to be working for a kimura but Nash defends the submission attempt.
Nash makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Nash.
Nash is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Nash pulls Halloway in to control the position.
Halloway wants to get up but he can't break Nash's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Nash has his feet on Halloway's thighs here. He's pushed Halloway off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Halloway screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
