Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Jorge Garcia and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cain is looking to clinch but Duff is avoiding it.
Duff dodges the punch combination from Cain.
Cain misses with a body shot.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Cain, as that shot connected.

Duff shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cain pinned against the cage. Cain gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Duff throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cain's waist but Cain gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Duff off to one side.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Duff.

Duff shoots for a double leg takedown but Cain sprawls well. He's pushed Duff's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Cain throws a good cross that connects.

Cain stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cain wants it to stay on the feet.

Duff takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Cain misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cain lands a jab to the head.
Jason Cain seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Duff swats away the attempt to clinch by Cain.
Cain shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Duff eats them both and turns towards Cain to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Cain rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Duff moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Oh Duff is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Cain looks to land a right hand but Duff moved out of range.
Duff seems to have got his legs back now.

Cain swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Duff has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Cain finds it's way round the side to connect with Duff's head.

Cain pushes Duff away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Duff gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Duff decides to stand back up. Duff steps back and let's Cain get back to his feet.

Duff shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cain as he jumps to the side.

A left and a right from Cain both land. Nice combination.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cain lands with a right hand.

Duff gets tackled into the cage by Cain. Cain maintains the clinch.
Cain is looking to break free of the clinch but Duff has double underhooks.

Cain breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Duff dives in and grabs Cain's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cain pushes down on Duff's head and hops out.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Jason Cain showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Cain is working an open guard so Duff takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Cain is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Duff.

Jason Cain decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
