Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between George King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, George King! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jimmy Young! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Eddie Farnsworth and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from King. No joy for Young on that attempt. Young dodges the punch combination from King.
King goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Young misses the body punch and King counters with an outside leg kick.
Young ducks down and throws a hook to the body but King moves away. King misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
King will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
King thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Young if he has to take too many more of those.
Young throws a hook but King blocks it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. King throws a series of punches but Young moves out of range. Nice body kick there by King. Young checks a leg kick. King ducks under a wild hook from Young.
That's one minute gone in the round. King misses with a low kick. Jimmy Young seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Young uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before King has time to react. Young throws out a loose jab but King uses good head movement to avoid it. Young changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. King tries to avoid it but Young manages to keep hold of a leg and drag King to the ground. King escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. King has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from King there as he acknowledges the shot. Young swats away the attempt to clinch by King. Young throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. King gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Young won't allow King to sweep him here. Young stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. King swivels though and keeps the full guard. Young must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Young passes King's left leg - he's now in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Young seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but King does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. King tries to roll over but Young keeps him under control. King trying to hold on to Young's head to control him but Young postures up.
King is in trouble now - Young has advanced to mount! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Young landing shots from mount. Young looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King is trying desperately to improve position. Young controlling from the full mount. King is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. King is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Young controlling his opponent. King tries to reverse the position but Young maintains control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Young controlling the position easily from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jimmy Young will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

It looks like George King has been cut. Young thows a left - swing and a miss! King throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Young lands a body shot.
Young scores with a sloppy right hand. King should have avoided that one. George King is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. King will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
King tries to clinch up. Young loads up on a big right hand but King slips the punch. King walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Young scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Young misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from King.
That's one minute gone in the round. King lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Young doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. King tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. George King is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Young throws a jab when King was well out of range. Young moves out of range of the body kick. King is looking to score with low kicks. George King is winning the standup battle so far. Young moves out of range of the leg kick from King. King takes a body punch but keeps moving. Young keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Young cracks King with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. King throws a nice looking combination but Young bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Young misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from King.
King throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice cross by Young. King throws a nice inside leg kick. King takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. King takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! King throws a hook to the side of Young's head but Young sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Young scores with a shot to the body.

Young stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. King throws a body kick that misses. Young takes a swing at King's ribcage but misses. Nice uppercut lands for Young. That snapped King's head back.
King takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Young takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Young dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Young lands with a shot to the body. King drops his hands momentarily and Young takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Young slips under a jab from King. Decent striking displayed by Young there. King throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Young scores with a hook. King pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Young back to the cage. King follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Decent striking displayed by Young there. King lunges at Young with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Young's hand. Young throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Young takes a swing at King's ribcage but misses. Young looks to land a left hand but King moved out of range nicely. Young just misses with a punch to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! King throws a leg kick but Young sees it coming and moves out of range. King falls off balance throwing a combination
letting Young counter with a right hand. Young jabs King to the body, keeping him at a distance. King uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Young.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. King misses with a kick to the body.

Jimmy Young showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on George King's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

and King takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. King tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Young manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. King throws a lazy right hand but Young sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Young throws a predictable looking body shot
and King counters with an inside leg kick. King throws a nice outside leg kick. King doesn't manage to clinch there - Young circles away.
Young digs a good body shot into King's ribs. Young misses with an uppercut. King uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Young.
King scores with a three punch combo!
King takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Young fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Young shoots in but King avoids the takedown attempt easily. Young closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Young passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for King! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. King really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Young lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Young controlling from the full mount. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Young lands a big elbow. Young with the ground and pound from mount. Young tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Young is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. King can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
King is rocked! Young cracks King with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Oh King is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Young looking to control and managing it successfully. Young postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have King in real trouble here! The ref calls for King to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
