The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Akita misses
and Sirkesalo counters with a nice uppercut.

and Sirkesalo counters with a left and a right that stings Akita.

Akita is rocked!

It looks like Moto Akita has been cut.
Akita doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Sirkesalo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Oh Akita is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Akita gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Sirkesalo makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sirkesalo steps in with a hook that catches Akita right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Sirkesalo follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Akita looks absolutely devastated.
