Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bernie McLeod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lupe Fiasco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think McLeod might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Flower of Scotland. Fiasco has chosen Lupe Back as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Lupe Fiasco was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bernie McLeod! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lupe Fiasco! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fiasco takes a shot right to the bread basket. Fiasco is looking to take this fight into the clinch. McLeod throws a one two combo.
McLeod dips to his left and cracks Fiasco with an uppercut! No joy there for Fiasco, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McLeod scores with the left hand. Fiasco knows he should have avoided that one. McLeod thows a body shot but no joy. Fiasco is looking to clinch. McLeod swings and misses with a hook to the body.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fiasco tries to roll over but McLeod keeps him under control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bernie McLeod will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
