Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Asiong Salonga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drake Dawson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dawson has chosen 6 foot 7 foot as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salonga moves into the clinch successfully.

Salonga drags the fight down to the ground.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Dawson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Salonga throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dawson was covering up waiting for the punch and Salonga finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Dawson is pushing Salonga's head away, looking to escape. Salonga manages to hold on to the position though.

Dawson is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Salonga asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Salonga is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dawson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Salonga.

Dawson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Salonga.
Dawson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Salonga throws a strike but Dawson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Salonga scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Dawson throws a right and a left that both miss.

Salonga shoots for a takedown but Dawson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Salonga dives in and grabs Dawson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dawson pushes down on Salonga's head and hops out.

Salonga is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Salonga has Dawson pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Salonga pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Dawson tumbling to the mat - Salonga dives into Dawson's guard.

Dawson has his feet on Salonga's thighs here. He's pushed Salonga off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Salonga screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
