Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Akari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Helios Kyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Helios Kyle! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kyle. Kyle fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Akari avoids it really well and circles away. Akari shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kyle is trying to defend but Akari finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Kyle looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Kyle is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Akari pulls his head out easily. Akari uses his free foot to push down on Kyle's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kyle. Kyle tries to reverse the position but Akari maintains control. Akari lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

No luck for Kyle with that takedown attempt. Kyle throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Akari's waist but Akari gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kyle off to one side. Akari feints and as Kyle raises his hands in defense, Akari changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Kyle working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Akari. Kyle keeping moving, preventing Akari from controlling successfully. Akari stands up and waves to Kyle to follow him. Akari stuffs the takedown. Dan Akari has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Helios Kyle. Akari drives through with a takedown into guard. Akari passes Kyle's left leg - he's now in half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kyle actively working from the bottom here. Kyle shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Akari counters with a takedown into side control. Akari is working to tighten is grip on Kyle's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Kyle has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Akari is really squeezing tight and eventually Kyle passes out! Akari breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
