The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mox shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

De Souza really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mox. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mox wants to pass the guard but De Souza is keeping the position.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
De Souza wants to get back to his feet.
Mox scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Mox takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Mox is landing with some decent strikes but De Souza is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Mox has control of De Souza's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and De Souza regains control of the situation pretty easily.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if De Souza can do anything to dispel that myth.

De Souza has left one of his arms exposed and Mox doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. De Souza screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
