Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ace Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexandre Pimentel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan's entrance music is Lightning. A fine choice. Ace Ryan looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Pimentel.
Pimentel tries to move to mount but Ryan blocks the move with his legs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pimentel cracks Ryan with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Pimentel misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Ryan sneaks back into half guard.
Pimentel is nestled in close to Ryan, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Pimentel connects with a nice short shot to Ryan's temple.
Pimentel thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ryan's head.
Pimentel working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pimentel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ryan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pimentel accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

A jab lands there for Pimentel.

Pimentel feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Pimentel stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Ryan throws up his legs and catches Pimentel in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Pimentel tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Ryan! That came out of nowhere!

A less than humble Ace Ryan misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
